Utilize standard techniques to model an enterprise view of the business and technology landscape at varying levels of fidelity and abstraction, including business, data, applications or systems, technology, and security.
Research, develop, document, and analyzes enterprise architectures to identify mission capability gaps, overlaps, and shortfalls; prepare and publish formal architecture documents, produce architecture development plans and reports, to customers (e.g., white papers, briefings).
Demonstrated experience in technical leadership in identifying, formulating, designing and or testing practical solutions to IT problems and guide the engineering development of modern complex systems.
Provide reports, presentations, and analysis of architecture data, initiatives, and projects to support senior executive decision making entities (such as IT steering committees and CIO council), and IT portfolio analysis.
Evaluate completed projects for optimization and coordinate with team leads to update project types and offerings for future iterations; coordinate with delivery teams to ensure projects mitigate risk, address technical challenges and remain within scoped timelines and budgets.
The Enterprise Architect works as part of the Architecture Team to maintain and coordinate content, format and revisions. The team collects, maintains and reports on enterprise program metrics and milestones that measure business transformation progress and provides updates to the Enterprise Transition Plan.
Develop operating policies, guidelines, and standards for the planning, development, integration, implementation, and evaluation of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) systems and subsystems that meet overall information needs of multiple organizational units.
Manage, assess, enhance, and maintain NASAs Enterprise Architecture model, methodology, and framework to include technical architecture, data architecture, business architecture, and system architectures.
Drive the development, demonstration and management of the Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) Enterprise architecture with an emphasis on enterprise solutions, system of system integration, and transition planning from legacy to the future state.
