This position is responsible for reviewing print and electronic copy for grammar, punctuation, clarity, style, and flow and assist the Copy Desk Manager in coordinating assigned projects. Works under general supervision.

The Associate Editor will develop story ideas, by following up on ideas from the Monitor editor as well as doing independent research, write articles as needed and indirectly oversee reporters to improve their work and make sure they meet their deadlines.
