The CFO will assist the CEO in assessing and identifying operational strategies, performance metrics and financial challenges and opportunities to meet the challenging demands of a diverse donor base and multiple currency management.
In this role, the selected candidate will oversee and support managers in the development and management of an end-to-end Record to Report process, including facilitating interfaces between various accounting systems, functional leadership teams, other accounting managers and directors, auditors, and executive leadership.
S/he will build and supervise a strong team of four staff members, including a very capable Controller, with responsibility for accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and grants administration.
Partner with the president on all operational and strategic issues; provide appropriate recommendations to the president based on financial analysis, business modeling, industry best-known-methods (BKMs) and projections, cost identification and allocation, and revenue/expense analysis.
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) supervises the compilation and preparation of financial statements and reports, works with management to develop strategies for internal growth and effectively manages the companys revenues.
