In this role, you will provide general corporate legal expertise, including assuming primary responsibility for corporate entity management as well as supporting corporate transactions (primarily M&A and internal reorganizations), corporate governance and other general corporate matters from time to time.
In this role, you will be working with the WAS Divisions paralegals to develop template forms for some of the abovementioned documents, as well as policies and procedures to streamline the legal preparation and negotiation of those documents.
In this role, you will Work closely with Enterprise Privacy colleagues to identify risks and develop strategies for privacy/data protection and cross border data movement initiative implementation and compliance.
In this role, the selected candidate will advise regarding the appropriate patent, copyright, trademark and trade secret strategies to protect data, databases, networks, sales and financial information and other proprietary intellectual property or business enterprises.
In this role, the selected candidate should have day-to-day experience counseling public companies, including with respect to corporate governance matters; strong academic background, client management skills and superior drafting and negotiation skills.
