The Assistant Director is a critical contributor to the successful execution of the McDonough School of Business communications strategy by ensuring that the activities surrounding faculty research, thought leadership, student successes, and programmatic differentiators are communicated to both internal (McDonough and GU faculty, staff, students, and alumni) and external (business leaders, employers, prospective students, influencers, etc.) audiences.
In this role, the selected candidate will support the VP School Legal Affairs and Executive Director School Legal Affairs in the management of litigation affecting Connections Education and/or the schools it supports.
In this role, the selected candidate develops and implements financial control procedures and systems; maintains documents for audits of hotel accounts and ensures compliance with government regulations, federal, state and local laws to independently comply with record retention requirements.
In this role, the selected candidate will oversee the day-to-day fund-raising efforts within the positions portfolio and tracks progress; develop implementation plans with the VP, center directors and scholars along with the Senior Director to ensure a seamless transition from startup to project implementation.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper set up and service of all banquet functions, supervising all banquet associates to ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain service standards.
In this role, the selected candidate will function at a professional nursing level using both administrative leadership and clinical expertise in order to assure that comprehensive care and treatment is rendered to customer population, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team in the design, implementation and evaluation of various programs within the unit.
