Responsible for general laboratory and operational support. Including providing logistical support for samples and compounds management, ordering supplies and carrying out general bench work activities.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for process development, scale-up, technology transfer, establishing and optimizing commercial manufacturing processes for compounding and filling of solids, soft-chews, non-sterile liquids and sterile inject (aseptic manufacturing) platforms, as well as collaborating and partnering with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality organizations.
Position assists investigators as research coordinator of a moderately complex clinical research study; acting as a liaison with the school, sponsoring agency, community and the study participants; responsible for managing and recording all phases of study protocol as required by sponsoring agency to ensure compliance.
This role will offer the opportunity to work directly with complex, proprietary technology and to develop the strategies and contribute to our Freedom to Operate, patentability assessments, patent preparation/prosecution, deliver IP education, and enhance IP awareness to protect Monsanto's global chemistry pipeline.
In this role, you are required to use advanced mathematical models, machine learning techniques, optimization and strong business acumen to deliver insight. You will be responsible for transforming large amounts of diverse data into descriptive knowledge using advanced quantitative analysis; formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimization methods to develop and interpret information that assists with decision making.
Confers with PI to assist in developing plans for research projects and discuss the interpretation of results; collaborates in the preparation of manuscripts for publications and preparation of grant proposals to sponsoring agencies; assists in the preparation of amendments to protocols and/or modifications to study design as appropriate.
Responsible for statistical analyses of results obtained in internal and external projects and subsequent decision making, including oral and written communications both internally and externally in formal reports, presentations, and posters
In this role, the selected candidate will require track record in piezoelectric dispensing of proteins from borosilicate glass capillaries onto substrate for protein biochip fabrication, I.e. printing immobilized protein macroarrays on substrates.
