The Labor & Employment Paralegal provides legal support to Labor & Employment and Litigation attorneys on a broad range of matters, including, but not limited to: all employment agreements globally, all labor & employment litigation (including arbitrations and administrative claims), workers compensation, immigration, HR and benefits policy development and implementation, and day-to-day docket/issues management.
This position is responsible for providing assistance to the Alberici Legal Department including assistance with the managing of claims and discovery needs, processing of legal bills, preparing responses to legal document subpoenas and discovery requests, handling and processing of various bonds as well as general legal support and research.
Communicating with clients who request legal services as necessary to obtain additional information necessary to process. Supporting a ministry-wide matters management and document management process for legal matters.
In this role, you will perform complex administrative duties requiring independent judgment and initiative by identifying and resolving routine legal issues under the supervision of manager and managing attorney.
Plaintiff and/or defense experience will be considered. Some of the responsibilities include managing litigation files from inception through trial, requesting, organizing and managing discovery, drafting pleadings, interrogatories, RFP's, client contact, scheduling depositions, trial preparation and attendance and much more.
