The Project Engineer is responsible for overall contract administration and project management of new equipment orders and ensuring compliance to contractual terms and conditions while meeting customer performance expectations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
In this role, you will direct contact and overview of the General Contractor to ensure a high level of quality and safety is maintained as required by both Jacobs and our client. Office work would include involvement with the creation and review of both Requests for Information and Requests for Proposal and Change Orders. This at times is a client facing position.
This is a plant of about 200 people with plans and room to grow. The scope of the activities include projects at this plant and assisting projects at other plants. Travel will be in the 20 to 40% range. The company looks to this individual not only to complete scheduled projects but to make recommendations for improvements in processes and equipment.
Candidates could come from a pilot plant, a research setting, or a full-scale plant. Candidates should have experience with as many of the following unit operations as possible: reactors, fermentation, mixing, centrifugation, drying and project management tools such as stage-gating.
In this role, the selected candidate ensures assigned projects meet agreed KPIs, including safe implementation, quality of installation, on time delivery, project scope objectives met and delivery on budget with a managed cash flow.
This person will be responsible for design through installation which includes budget estimates, material specs, budget management, installation and startup of small scale fermenters, reactors, dryers, centrifuges and agitators.
In this role, the selected candidate will be primarily responsible for the engineering and design of building electrical systems (lighting, power, and limited special systems) for facilities such as K-12 and higher education, healthcare, hospitality and commercial buildings.
The Quality Engineer Outage Services will support the Quality System needs of the Outage Services Division and provide a resource for developing and implementing good Quality practices while supporting the Divisions overall business objectives.
Management responsibilities include supervision of design and drafting staff, coordination with clients and associates, and organization of design and construction administration activities to meet established schedules and budgets.
