The Sales Director Energy & Utilities job entails developing and directing the sales efforts for new client target acquisition and/or directing the efforts to ensure execution of sales strategies geared toward protecting and growing business with existing clients.
Lead, and be ultimately responsible for the execution of business development, ongoing business expansion (i.e. cross-sell and up-sell), and successful handoff of newly developed or expanded business to appropriate implementation personnel in such a fashion as to achieve corporate targets of market penetration, revenue and margin metrics, client satisfaction, product and client diversification, and ongoing compliance with regulatory, quality, accreditation, delegation, and contractual requirements of Company products and services.
As the company continues to grow, senior sales management will continue to play a significant role in managing key customers, working closely with the franchisees and managing in--store merchandising resources.
This Director participates in the cultivation and stewardship of executive relationships, ensuring margins, revenue and customer satisfaction metrics continue to increase within the pharmaceutical distribution (supply chain) and IDS Consultative Services channels.
Support the tracking and reporting (of pipelines, success rates, costs, financial performance, etc.) pertaining to the Companys business development efforts in a timely, accurate, and comprehensive fashion.
Make sales presentations to SMB and enterprise-level customers on how Bluetooth LE and Wi-Fi solutions can address their business needs; communicate customer business requirements to engineering and implementation teams.
Identify, cultivate and manage high impact relationships with key prospects and major benefit consulting firms in the health & wellness marketplace including national practice leaders, individual consultants and their major clients.
