The successful candidate will develop and implement sales strategies that meet the targeted sales plan. Will initiate new and service existing relationships within the West Coast, Southwest, and Inter-Mountain region.
Act as intermediary and field escalation focal point between customer and Division by providing technical support and documentation to field engineers, technicians and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging equipment.
The primary responsibility of the Sales Engineer is to oversee the Quote Desk and cost estimates, supports sales initiatives, and provide sales support to ensure the attainment of established sales objectives.
Collaborate with customers and the product line organization to develop product definitions, goals, and road-maps.Partner with the marketing and application teams to provide strategic support and help define a broad product road-map across multiple wireless charging standards and power levels.
The SE will provide direct support during sales calls and is well-versed in WAN connectivity, networking, Cloud, and SaaS services and technologies, and able to drill down into specific technological areas as it relates to these areas.
Develop selling opportunities by growing relationships throughout all levels of an account. Utilize a consultative approach, discuss technical and business issues with prospects/customers and develop a formal plan and presentation addressing their needs.
Key activities include actively visiting new and existing customers to uncover selling opportunities, investigating the needs and abilities of the customer, presenting the PSG solution so that the customer views it as an enabler, gaining commitment, and tracking orders all the way through the purchasing process.
