This position supervises the team(s) providing direct care for patients. Management and leadership skills needed include conflict management, negotiation, team building, communication, budget administration and coaching/mentoring others. Directs patient assignments, staff scheduling, patient flow, and assists in meeting financial targets by effectively assisting in managing utilization, productivity, personnel and supplies.
The RN - Nurse Supervisor is responsible for supervising nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and within scope of practice coordinates care delivery, which will ensure that patient's needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, center policies and procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines.
This position will obtain appropriate clinical documentation through extensive interaction with physicians, nursing staff, the Interdisciplinary Team, and other patient caregivers to ensure that the clinical information used in measuring and reporting outcomes is complete and accurate.
Supervise all maintenance department hourly employees on shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd). Schedule maintenance employees as needed to service the needs of internal customers (manufacturing, packaging, distribution), while supporting manufacturing and distribution to ensure the company meets/exceeds company goals and targets while minimizing OT.
The Supervisor provides of support and coaching to staff members as indicated. This position will report to and collaborate with the Manager or Director regarding identified issues outside the Supervisors scope of authority.
Responsible for processing all human resources required, review procedures for all maintenance department employees; review, analyze, and enter all work order requests and assign to appropriate personnel.
Evaluates data such as job orders, product specifications, operations sheets, materials inventory lists, etc. to establish efficient allocation and scheduling of parts, materials, machines, and sequences of operations and workflow.
