The successful candidate wil1 teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in speech - language pathology, supervise clinical practicum, advise students, direct theses, and serve on committees at all levels of the university.
Provide speech therapy services to adults and geriatric patients including evaluations, planning treatment programs and goals, rendering patient treatments according to the practice and standards of the American Speech and Hearing Association, and discharge planning.
Address childs speech production, vocal production, and language needs through speech therapy; deliver direct services via pre-referral interventions; monitor student progress in pre-referral interventions.
The ideal candidate will have research experience developing speech recognition systems in different languages. Individuals in this role should be experts in language modeling and have experience working on vast quantities of data, advanced recognition systems and perform rigorous performance evaluations.
