Participate in SDN control and management protocol standardization activities; network virtual function or application development and integration; participate in open source and open standard industry collaboration activities.
Participates with various teams regarding network, security and / or telephony projects, change tickets, and trouble tickets, etc. Assists in the evaluation of issue priority and provides front line response to various internal groups regarding product and solution support.
This individual will be part of IMACD team responsible for Server, Network & Unified Communication devices installed outside of Data Center. IMACD Support team will also be responsible for assisting any preventive UPS Maintenance as well as patching of cables in Data Closet/Computer room.
As a junior level member of technical staff, you will be interacting with software engineers, network/system operations staff and network/system architects to support the development/integration of Network Management System tools (network monitoring, network troubleshooting, data analytics, event correlation.
Works with technical teams and managed services to ensure that network hardware and software infrastructure is maintained with latest firmware and software requirements. Monitor bug and security reports.
Knowledge of and expertise in software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Understanding of advanced networking technologies and solutions including MPLS, BGP, EIGRP, HSRP, OSPF, multicast, policy-based routing, ether-channel, QoS, traffic-shaping, load balancing, VPNs, WAN Optimization, etc.
