Responsibilities include providing technical expertise, management, and leadership to the mechanical project team; attending client meetings; performing construction phase services; mentoring less experienced staff; assisting with the development of engineering agreements; and business development.
Responsible for Manufacturing Engineering activity in assigned production departments ( either assembly or mechanical ) as well as functioning as project coordinator on manufacturing improvement projects as assigned.
The Manufacturing Engineer III (Sr. Manufacturing Engineer / Project Manager) is expected to lead high impact projects. The Sr. ME III is expected to lead change, contribute new ideas, and foster innovative methods to accomplish goals.
Assist the network infrastructure team in buildout of new or expanded areas within manufacturing areas. Order and install switches, firewalls, or routers as appropriate. Using existing designs and policies, configure and test equipment before putting into production.
Complete and release interior components, sub-system and detail designs, utilizing a mix of in-house design and supplier engineering where required (in-house designs are planned for most major commodities).
Reviews arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout; designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the equipment and other functions that affect manufacturing performance.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing multiple manufacturing processes during product development, manufacturing ramp-up and sustaining phases as well as interacting with contract manufacturers.
