The Hardware Systems Applications Engineer will be responsible for development, design and modeling of integrated systems that will be used for product validation and customer demonstration. The successful candidate will be the level 2 field escalation point for integration issues and support.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for interfacing with Factory bring-up teams and tools, including remote and on-site; developing diagnostics and self-tests for hardware integrity.
In this role, the selected candidate will perform advanced troubleshooting and updating knowledge bases articles with solutions performed; work directly with customers in the timely and accurate resolution of standard and complex technical support problems, questions and other technical issues.
In this highly visible role, you will be a senior engineer brought in to normal escalations, but most importantly to high severity and high visibility situations. Domestic and International travel to customers and other Cisco sites will be a requirement for this position.
In this role, the successful candidate will act as the subject matter expert on applications and process support; provide solutions for major escalations in complex environments in cooperation with development/support.
This position will entail collaboration with other Departments on business analysis projects and providing technical direction and support. Primary responsibilities include working with Salesforce CRM, DW, and visualization platforms.
