Support all required engineering activities for the entire Systems Engineering lifecycle including but not limited to architecture development, engineering integration, test planning, engineering/logistic execution, and technical/acquisition documentation.
Responsible for the analysis, development, modification, installation, testing and maintenance of operating systems software; possesses a strong understanding of systems programming, graphical user interfaces and control languages.
Experience with multiple Linux distributions (Montavista, Ubuntu, OpenEmbedded, Red Hat, Buildroot, etc); embedded Linux development for a variety of platforms (ARM, MIPS, x86, PowerPC, etc) and board support packages.

Design and development of protocols and algorithms for a variety of technologies, including USB, PCI, 802.11 / WLAN, Ethernet, VoIP, Bluetooth, cellular / wireless, and/or broadband communications.
Reporting problems to appropriate engineers; resolving customer service issues; and assisting in implementing solutions; collecting drive test data in support of performance evaluations and build program prioritization.
Performs networking and security administration and provisioning; focuses on projects and support of back-end infrastructure systems including but not limited to: Virtualization, storage, compute, networking, security.
