Under general supervision the Operating Room ( OR ) Registered Nurse ( RN ) staff nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
Responsibilities are assigned by the Director of the Nursing Department.The overarching focus of the Clinical Coordinator is the day-to-day delivery of patient care and long term growth and development of the staff and the services provided by the unit.
Provide direct patient care to include assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of assigned patients; collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
Manage care/services provided and the development/implementation of patient plans of care for a group of assigned patients within scope of practice, to include performing on-site clinical assessments as appropriate, consulting with third party representatives regarding patient financial responsibility, providing case management and follow up, to ensure care plan stated outcomes are achieved.
In collaboration with the patient, the patients family and other members of the health care team, the clinical Neuro ICU Registered Nurse (RN) assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates treatment plans
Provides direct patient care to include assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of assigned patients. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
Provide day to day guidance, support and direction to direct patient care staff, providing informal feedback on an ongoing basis and formal feedback input for the annual performance evaluation. Participate in the department staffing and the appropriate hiring, firing and disciplinary actions. Recommend disciplinary action to Clinical Manager and initiate as appropriate.
The RN provides nursing care to patients in compliance with the SC Nurse Practice Act, Standards of Practice and defined by ANA, SFHSC, and organization protocols, policies, procedures and guidelines. Develops,implements, evaluates and revises plan of care based on physical, psychosocial,spiritual, and educational needs of the patient/family.
The registered nurse working at the elgin urgent care provides direct and indirect patient care in the urgent care setting. Provides care that reflects initiative, flexibility and responsibility indicative of professional expectation with a minimum of supervision.
