The Plant Systems Engineer will be accountable for coordination and management of plant systems from an approach of people, process, and IT systems; accountabilities include training and change management, reporting, SQL database, MES configuration, SPC concepts and quality management.
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer operates within the Charleston, SC Machining Center of Excellence and will focus on execution and implementation of best machining practices, including process troubleshooting and improvement, new product introduction, and advancements in machining technologies.
This individual will be able to define, develop and complete engineering product development projects with limited direction from engineering management and in cooperation with the integrated product team.
Perform essential project engineering functions involving monitoring of progress, preparation of procedures, documentation of communications and meetings, and identification/evaluation of project issues and problems.
In this role, you will be responsible for the design, installation and continuous improvement of assigned machines and designs in order to maximize the safety, quality and operating efficiency of the plant. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintenance, technical support as needed.
The position has accountability development, measurement and maintenance of product and process procedures. Product Engineering and Development functions and leads Design Engineers and Technicians to achieve goals.
Project Engineers are responsible for a variety of activities including, and not limited to, performing standard and complex design tasks, requiring the operation and application of computer aided design equipment such as a plotter, and associated peripheral equipment, performing standard, complex, and non-routine design tasks, requiring extensive skill and knowledge of CAD applications, supporting project managers in regards to utilizing CAD, mathematical analysis / calculations, and general project organization.
