The Sr. Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and leading the sourcing and procurement of Indirect Materials and Services. This includes leading Sourcing teams, analysts, and other project teams to secure contractual agreements to meet business needs, lead supplier simplification, execution on activities to optimize productivity, quality & fulfillment through strategic supplier relationships.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), ability to present to a VP or SVP level audience on a regular basis, ability to facilitate cross-functional team discussions and lead team to reach consensus decisions.
Develop supplier selection criteria and gain client alignment. Facilitate cross functional teams to evaluate supplier responses to select finalists. Contribute to the development and/or validation of cost benefit analysis for assigned projects. Effectively communicate the impact of sourcing decisions to involved clients, management, impacted employees and suppliers, as appropriate.
