The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for helping to drive cost reduction activities through process improvements to directly impact the overall performance objectives for the company and compliance to AS9100 and NADCAP requirements and/or division. This position significantly impacts the companys ability in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
In this role, the selected candidate will recommend alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures; tracks, manages, and mitigates mechanical, hydraulic, and fuel system component engineering risks.
In this role, you will develops technical specifications & data sheets, performs technical evaluation of bids, and recommends best value design which meets client requirements for operability, reliability, maintainability and safety.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for the design of air distribution systems; design of hydronic systems; scheduling and selecting major equipment; automatic temperature controls system design and specification.
In this role, the selected candidate will work in close conjunction with and receive directions from Engineering and Project personnel and Principal Engineering Designer toward applying engineering concepts of designs into practicable and functional graphics.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for pipe support component selection and pipe support design criteria; consult with Sub-Contracted Detail Design firms on piping engineering concerns.
In this role, the selected candidate will generate requisitions for various types of static equipment such as pressure vessels and heat exchangers; incorporate applicable code and customer requirements in order to produce a complete technical definition of the equipment.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide proposal/sales support by reviewing client specifications and requirements, provide steel weight estimates including an estimate of major member sizes.
In this role, you will be responsible for the development and execution of global best practice manufacturing processes. The Engineer will enhance overall manufacturing performance through the assimilation of new products and processes into manufacturing throughout the Construction segments global consumable manufacturing base.
In this role, you will develop program plans: defining tasks, resource requirements, test events, test configuration, hardware planning, test facility selection, coordination and all appropriate documentation.
