The Sr. Indirect Procurement Analyst will be responsible for procurement and vendor management activity including (but not limited to): sourcing, complex professional service agreements, pricing negotiations, statement of work development, data security, risk mitigation, service level agreements, key performance indicators and ensuring minimum insurance requirements for internal stakeholders: (Consumer/Commercial Finance, Insurance, Collections, Call Centers, HR and Information Technology).
In this position, you will lead supplier negotiation process to evaluate and transform supplier freight flows through USF managed freight program and network. Includes: identify, discuss, negotiate and prioritize potentially viable suppliers to be adopted in the RD/Hub network, convert from delivered to CPU and participate in collaborative transportation solutions.
In this role, the selected candidate will perform detailed and complex analysis of operational data to develop baselines, improve performance visibility, and identify process improvement opportunities.
Responsible for procuring in a cost effective and timely manner. Drive value-engineering efforts based on knowledge of (assigned) commodities and their industry drivers in relation in potential material alternatives.
In this role, you will manage procure-to-pay process, including procurement planners, purchase orders, invoices, lead time validation, and delivery for assigned categories. Support internal customers and build strong working relationship internally and externally.
Maintains inventory levels consistent with site policies and goals. Perform analysis quarterly on future demand and adjust safety stock settings to insure volume changes in the business are reflected in our stock policies. Develops corrective action plans to insure Site & Global targets are met. Provide Buyer/Planner with updated setting for their items and insure prompt update into JDE.
Provides oversight for inventory valuation processes (standard costing, variance and overhead deferrals, excess and obsolete calculations) including authoring related policies and/or revisions thereof.
