In this role, you will plan and manage the people and processes involved in purchasing, expediting, shipping, receiving warehousing, cycle counting, toting and transferring inventory, and other materials that may be received or shipped and maintaining the supply chain with vendors and our other plants.
In this role, the selected candidate will work to provide state-of-the-art systems into facilities for customers in market segments such as pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing, food and beverage manufacturing, big-box warehouse distribution, and automotive production.
In this role, you will lead and manage all procurement and materials management activities including order placement, supplier reduction / evaluation / certification, supplier follow - up, price negotiation and compliance with government procurement regulations.
In this role, the successful candidate will conduct regular key account reviews and business updates to key stakeholders within the customer company and within the Molecular Spectroscopy business unit.
In this role, the selected candidate will participate with the Global Procurement Organization for global sourcing, procurement and supply chain management for MRO, production inventory, engineering requirements and capital equipment.
This position is responsible for the materials management function relating to the planning, procurement, storage, control, and distribution of materials and products to meet company objectives and customer requirements at the Plant.
