The Controls Engineer shall design and debug electrical and software interfaces of Customized CNC Machinery and work with customer specifications to create electrical designs of industrial machine controls and safety circuits, while supporting technicians, and engineers across multiple departments.
Design, develop, implement and maintain automated and manual test plans to address areas such as load testing, functional testing, unit testing, regression testing, negative testing, integration testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
Design, prototype, program, test, troubleshoot, diagnose, debug, and commission control hardware and software systems for cutting machine tools incorporated into custom designed work cells for customers in a variety of industries such as construction, mining, primary metals, wind energy, and aerospace.
The controls engineer will be responsible for consulting, gathering design information, meeting with customers, performing installation and start-up services, performing certain maintenance services and participating in sales and marketing calls.
As a QA Developer you will be working within the Product Release team in the Products & Services department; focusing on testing of the product packages and content, either by manual testing or use of testing tools.
This position will be responsible for all PLC related equipment and network systems, including but not limited to specifying and commissioning PLC controllers, I/O, and network hardware for new projects, making upgrades to existing systems, troubleshooting system problems, and developing PLC software and operator graphics to control plant processes and packaging equipment.
This position is definately not boring as you will be working with customers in a variety of industries working directly with OEMs as well as maintaining and establishing relationships with distributors in helping them find real solutions for thier motion control and power transmission needs.

Develop, design, prototype, program, debug, and commission control systems for the following: linear and rotary motors, servomotors, actuators (electromagnetic, pneumatic, and hydraulic), sensors (optical and touch based), programmable controllers and IO interfaces including touchscreens.
