The Logistics Network Analyst will be responsible for continuous improvement initiatives, reporting and analytics in support of the Print Logistics Group. The analyst will review, audit and summarize transportation data and provide executive summaries.
Conduct financial and compliance audits and operational reviews of our businesses. This involves planning audits by evaluating the complexity and risk of the audit client and adjusting the scope of the audit procedures accordingly.
This role will provide support for sourcing and commodity strategies within our Packaging Solutions Group; preparing competitive pricing estimates to close new/existing business opportunities and retain existing customer base.
Align with the Procurement Operations Manager to provide procurement operations for the building, including: forecasting of non-inventory products, inventory management, non-inventory flow and space models, cycle counts, supplier management, procurement transaction and expediting support.
Responsible to extend or renew existing contracts before or upon contract expiration, as well as identify opportunities for customer growth in new geographic locations, new industries, or additional products and services.
Purchase and expedite both materials and completed parts to support production, releasing orders to vendors using MRP reports; communicate and assess daily issues, including engineering changes, specification changes, deviations, etc., to ensure no shortages to production needs.
The successful individual will profitably sell value-added services, including packaging, warehousing/distribution, and asset-based transportation solutions throughout a large territory encompassing several Midwest states.
Reviews and analyzes key logistics reports and metrics, identifies issues or trends, and provides solutions and/or recommendations to internal and external customers to allow them to take appropriate action.
The Print Buyer will be responsible for effective, timely, and appropriate support to one of North Americans largest clients to drive achievement through financial, operational, and productivity initiatives.
Youll be a thought leader and skilled practitioner, focused on helping clients transform their purchasing and supply management organizations while simultaneously solving operational issues across the business enterprise.
