The Commission Accounting Analyst will assist the Manager of Marketplace Commissions and Analytics in key areas of insurance commission payments. This role is responsible for analyzing, processing and managing several critical pieces of insurance commission payments to agents and partners.
In this role, you will be responsible to assist in the completion of the monthly close process including, journal entry preparation, preparation or review of account reconciliations and analysis and identification of the significant changes in and components of account balances. Interface with business personnel to understand the components of account balances.
In this role, you will perform forensic analysis of financial data relating to various aspects of insurance claims including, but not limited to: business income loss, extra expense, stock/inventory loss, and personal injury wage loss.

The Financial Analyst/Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining general ledger accounts, daily and monthly financial reporting, and assisting in department initiatives.
In this role, you will work cross functionally with FinOps, Sox, Compliance, and Product teams to constantly refine and optimize controls including looking for ways to make them automated and preventative.
In this role, you will be responsible for creation and maintenance of balanced scorecards, value focus reporting model including KPIs and metrics, project cost and benefit reporting, discretionary and non- discretionary expense.
