In this role, you will provide electrical engineering core competency in product development with special emphasis on the design of medical grade non-implantable products for use in both the home and hospital environments.
In this role, you will design, specify, estimate the cost, and manage the safe installation of cable systems, motor control centers, unit substations and other more specialized electrical equipment. The selected candidate will prepare estimate of time, costs and manpower requirements.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the design of circuit card assemblies based on the system hardware requirements, selecting electronic components, implementing the schematic design, directing the layout and routing of printed wiring boards, performing design analysis/simulation, and supporting system integration.
In this role, the selected candidate will work well with interdisciplinary teams consisting of mechanical, thermal, reliability, safety, manufacturing engineers and others to provide quality designs in compressed time-frames.
The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for conducting design reviews, generating inspection instructions for the Receiving Inspection personnel to follow to verify product conformance, issue Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) disposition non-conforming product, conduct supplier audits and surveillance activities and work closely with commodity teams to manage our supplier.
The Sr. Electrical Engineer will provide technical input and will assist senior engineers and engineering leadership team in the ideation, design, development and testing of diabetes management products.
