In this role, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing and monitoring high quality occupational therapy care and services to residents consistent with regulations and established rehabilitation policies, procedures and best practices.
Therapist will provide in-services and training on an ongoing basis in restorative and maintenance techniques for facility staff. Supervise assistants as required by Iowa licensure. Functions within the parameters of a LTC facility as set by the Administrator.
In this role, you will use a variety of occupational therapy techniques to restore injured or disabled patients to maximum functional ability and independence. Also performs related duties as assigned.

In this role, you will develop and implement care plans for their clients that coordinate the clients home care services and that follow physicians orders; ensure that services are delivered according to licensing guidelines, professional medical standards and agency policies and procedures.
