In this role, you will identify, assess, and develop detailed requirements for upgrading networks as well as re-architecting network segments in order to facilitate new requirements, technologies and growth.
In this position, you will provide technical and product application support directly with customers and to the Manufacturers Reps (Reps), Authorized Distributors (ADs), and Vertical Strategic Account Managers (SAMs) to help drive opportunity creation, new business wins, and overall sales growth in the assigned territory.
The Premier Field Engineer acts as the primary onsite technical contact, providing customer visibility, advanced technical support and problem resolution for corporate customers, including issues escalated to the highest levels of management.
This position is responsible for design and development of complex outside plant (OSP) equipment installations, modifications and upgrades. Maintains fiber splice records, network topography records and fiber mapping and as-builts in corporate inventory systems. Works closely with other carriers, engineering firms, local/ state agencies and building owners/landlords on new building adds and relocations.
In this position, you will build relationships and communicate with owners, design partners, subcontractors, & workforce. He / She will manage document control, including submittal schedules, contract documents, shop drawings, etc.
