The Agronomy Sales Leader position as a member of team is responsible for providing strategic sales and marketing leadership to our Agronomy business unit. Other areas of focus include; continue growing cross-selling initiative, coach our sales team through the sales process, manage day to day sales activities of our sales team members, work with our Agronomy Leader to recommend product and service enhancements based on market information and our customers needs.
The position is the internal sales team support for the application of category management principles to business issues, identifying business opportunities and providing an assessment of the sales controllables, including promotion, pricing, and assortment.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for understanding a broad range of products, users, applications, and distributor models to effectively determine what products their customers should support and what best fits the needs of our target Contractors within the market.
In this role, the selected candidate must have experience developing a sales strategy, including the techniques and tactics based on customer feedback and market environment, and in business development activities including prospecting, networking, and partnering.
