The Senior Manager, National Operations acts as the primary relationship manager for the CCC Service, Sales and Specialized franchise in Canada and for the Canada Support teams in Mexico and Colombia, to recommend strategic operational decisions that create efficiency and improve the customer and employee experience, in a 24/7 environment.
Responsible for the planning, leadership, problem resolution, analysis and reporting for assigned unit or small department of approximately 10 employees, either directly or indirectly.
Provides support to the Area Leadership Team with asset management reviewing production planning, stocking parameters and asset management to ensure efficient supply chain and inventory management of flammable products.
Participate in defining the content deliverables, milestones, and various decisions pertaining to the necessary modifications (changes to be brought by certain milestones, etc.) and implement new problem-solving processes;
Direct and manage all plant operations with overall responsibilities for Production, Packaging, Maintenance, Warehouse, Quality, Safety, and other production-related activities as well as assistance with Quality functions.
Collaborate with colleagues in multiple locations (Toronto, Montreal, and Winnipeg) to design, control, and direct IGM Operations functions to achieve divisional and corporate objectives for compliance, service quality, timeliness, and productivity.
Strong communication skills in both verbal and written / presentation formats, for both informal and formal purposes, and experience working with audiences from technical implementation staff to executive leaders.
Work with management to identify risks that would impede them from achieving their business/process objectives and determine whether appropriate controls are in place to effectively and efficiently mitigate these risks.
Provide coaching, support and feedback utilizing the OPR process to promote the development and effectiveness of direct reports; serve as champion for Stanley Standard sustainment activities relative to servce department functions and activities.
Develop and maintain policies, processes and procedures to meet the requirements of regulatory and compliance standards, safety standards, product requirements, customer requirements, and business requirements.
The position is responsible for leading Security Risk and Compliance personnel in the monitoring and management of all security risk and compliance related processes and technologies that reduce or remove security related risk in support of the enterprise and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
