In this role, you will conduct highly technical research and analysis projects to provide senior management with definitive financial data and advice for their use in setting and realizing profit objectives.
The Financial Analyst will work with Senior Partners on strategic planning of specific large scale mixed-use development projects, and analysis of financial, accounting, purchasing, marketing and real estate data.
The Business Analysts mandate is to elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task reviews and workflow analysis.
In this role, the selected candidate will support planning and forecasting processes including forecasting, budgeting and month end closing; prepare management summaries and presentations which include building and monitoring KPIs.
In this role, the selected candidate will collaborate with Valuation System Transformation project team and other groups within GSD as well as Actuaries within the company to uncover pain points and opportunities to accelerate the delivery of new business value through software, infrastructure and services.
In particular, candidates should be able to describe in detail their specific roles on projects that affected data management processes, analytic capabilities, content management, and/or reporting with a specific emphasis on what changes stakeholders experienced as a result of these projects
In this role, you will prepare functional specifications for assigned projects, test plans, test scripts and their execution to maintain application integrity and provide a risk-adverse software solution that meets business needs.

expense management, budgetary support for cost centers, strategic data and ad hoc analysis,Management of financial process improvements as well as ensuring compliance with Worldwide Procedures and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the period closing process; including preparation and posting of journal entries, ensuring accuracy of the general ledger, entity compliance with local regulations, GAAP accounting principles and Corning policies and procedures, on a timely basis.
