The Platform Architect works closely with the chip design team to make sure that new platform features are incorporated at the correct time in the product roadmap and are implemented correctly on the chip itself.
The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the air quality and air pollution control requirements, applicable regulations, process calculations and emissions quantification techniques, familiarity with the drawings and technical specifications. Implement and execute design sensitivity/optimization studies, provide preliminary through final design results scorecard tracking, integration, test support and development, applied measurement science test equipment selection, design documentation and collaboration with manufacturing operations and product support engineering.
Identify and evaluate multiple options for solving complex technical issues and thoroughly supporting his/her technical solution;support equipment rebuilds by creating and tracking scope of work documents, bills of material, and equipment orders.
The successful candidate will be a signal engineer responsible for modifying existing or designing new signal circuits for railway centralized traffic control (CTC), interlocking, highway-railway grade crossings, and positive train control (PTC) systems.
Participate on project teams as an individual contributor or as a Design leader documenting customers requirements, developing project plans and schedule, developing scopes of work and cost estimates and implementation of detail design activities for CDT glass melting projects.
Proficient in at multiple development tools and thorough knowledge of application development support software and hardware platforms along with a diverse technical background in computing environments.
