The Power Electronics Mechanical System Engineer will provide Mechanical Engineering domain expertise in a multi-disciplinary engineering development team that includes system & control engineering, application software engineering, simulation, hardware & mechanical design, integration & test functions.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide engineering, installation, configuration, maintenance and support for hardware, operating systems and all ERP applications associated with Unix/Linux/Microsoft hosted applications environments in a 24/7 support environment.
In this role, the successful candidate will discuss call procedures and proposed resolutions with the Manager prior to all service calls to insure that calls are being handled in accordance with SMS procedures.
In this role, you will provide on-site analytical support in the area of space/ground systems and architectures, which will inform high-level resource decisions within the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
The position includes design, installation, and administration of various applications by ensuring the availability of services, configuring all new implementations, and developing processes and procedures for ongoing management of the infrastructure and server environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching and mentoring less experienced team members and or acting as a subject matter expert. In depth functional knowledge of the application(s) supported and interdependencies.
In this role, the selected candidate will coordinate with developers on requirements based on deployment platforms; submit software and firewall requests; coordinate, complete, and maintain Certification and Accreditation tasks.
