The Director of Business Development is responsible for developing sales activities and driving the companys expansion into new and existing markets and verticals. The ideal candidate will establish growth plans and strategies to expand the Companys customer base and will be called upon to explore and exploit new revenue sources. You can identify niche markets that are untapped and you possess a clear ability to hunt and bring sales deals to term. You are also knowledgeable with various sales channels, methodologies, and pricing practices specific to the North American credit card processing space.
Provide accurate forecasting and pipeline reviews to management on your assigned territory and named accounts on a regular basis. Lead the growth and consistent achievement of new sales bookings for their assigned territory and named national accounts.
You will develop and execute a strategic and comprehensive business plan for your territory, including identifying core customers and positioning the benefits of Zalonis solutions to the business requirements.
Manage the regional planning process and deliver a plan that defines annual business objectives, milestones, measurements, and required activities and resources by setting and clearly articulating the objectives and priorities. Review and approve district plans.
Plan, organize and direct daily operations, Assign, co-ordinate and review projects and programs, Establish distribution networks for products and services, Plan and direct advertising and marketing campaigns, Plan and direct market research studies, Oversee the analysis of sales data and information, Prepare reports, Advise senior management, Generate ideas for products / services development, Evaluate markets, Develop promotional materials, Ability to make cold calls, Maintain existing accounts and generate new accounts.
Responsible for working cross functionally with the legal, marketing, sales support, pricing, reimbursement services, company Brand, accounts receivable, customer systems and operational teams to effectively deliver the company value proposition while maintaining profitability and corporate compliance.
