In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing internal network solutions. Maintaining and providing Tier 3 support for the network infrastructure, including but not limited to switches, routers, firewalls, network appliances, and wireless APs.
In this role, the selected candidate must have an understanding of transport protocols, routing protocols, and security/authentication protocols at all layers of the OSI model with emphasis on TCP/IP are essential.
In this role, the selected candidate will support the operations and making day to day changes in the network environment; should also be good with Cisco routers i.e. 3935, 7200, ASR series and Cisco switches i.e. 3750, 4500, 6500, Nexus platforms.
In this role, you will perform variety of network engineering tasks, either independently or under supervision, which are broad in nature and are concerned with the design and implementation of integrated networks, including personnel hardware, software and support facilities and/or equipment.
In this role, you will provide expertise to perform technical evaluations of foreign computer and network technologies through reverse engineering of specified nonUS weapons subsystems, for the analysis and identification of software capabilities and vulnerabilities.
In this position, you will assist a DoD client with vulnerability reporting, continuous monitoring, and sustainment. Perform a variety of routine project tasks applied to specialized information assurance problems. Perform tasks that involve integration of scan management solutions as they pertain to IA requirements
Provide specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
