Participate and contribute to architectural design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the virtualization infrastructure, develop and maintain accurate documentation of servers, network, etc.
Works with support teams, including testing, development, architecture, network, and program management, to ensure that all related database issues, problems, and necessities are resolved and provided.
The System Administrator will take an active role in optimizing and implementing enterprise wide solutions and escalations from other team members. Analyzes and resolves end user application and connectivity issues in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training where required.
Provide day-to-day system administration on Windows 2012, CentOS 7 and VMWare 6.0 technologies to include creating VMWare templates, user account management, log/eventlog review, active directory management, group policies, patching and system maintenance.
Installs; configures; and upgrades software and hardware in a multi-domain environment using standard business and administrative packages; and may modify specific applications for use in operational departments.
The candidate will assist Information Assurance (IA) personnel in updating system and network documentation to include, but not limited to, antivirus and audit records, system maintenance records, and software and hardware approvals.
Maintain system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting system hardware, software, networks and operating and system management systems; escalating application problems to vendor.
