In this role, you will manage or mentors and provides advice/guidance/training regarding clinical skills, professional practice, ethical behaviors, billing, caseload management, educational opportunities, documentation and patient care for patient issues or when requested by staff.
In this role, you will perform evaluations, develops a plan of care, implements therapeutic activities, educates patients and caregivers related to the evaluation findings and treatment plan to maximize therapeutic gain.
The Speech-Language Therapist facilitates the learning of skills and functions essential for communication and swallowing, to diminish or remediate disorders or deficits. S/he directs activities to promote and maintain health, within the scope of practice and consistent with the Code of Ethics of the profession.
