In this role, the selected candidate will provide technical guidance to software testers to help them embrace change as new test automation tools are introduced; lead key technical testing areas that require expertise beyond functional software testers.
The Automation Team is a new venture for the company, and the successful candidate will perform a key role in helping to set automation standards, source management mechanisms, version management, change management, transparency and self-documentation of automation affecting each enterprise system, etc, across all groups. This person will also meet with internal teams, gather requirements for automation needs, determine viability and cost benefit ratios and ultimately develop and implement solutions.
The selected candidate will design test cases, scenarios, and scripts and implement automated test infrastructure that will support regression testing and new functionality testing targeting areas such as database impacts, software design scenarios, or usability.
In this role, you will use automation and performance testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Parasol, HP Enterprise UFT, Test Complete, Load Runner) in developing test scripts and the analysis of test results.
