The Surface Ship Project Manager working within the Navy's Space and Naval Warfare Command (SPAWAR) Global C4ISR Installation Contract. The Surface Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of all awarded shipboard C4ISR installations in terms of schedule and cost control, material procurement and delivery, quality management, personnel management, and customer satisfaction.
In this role, the selected candidate will coordinate with PGS sites and Third Party Manufacturers to assure necessary product samples are sent for nutrient testing and use results to assist with FLF updates.
In this position, you'll be responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and implementation of projects to ensure business goals and objectives are accomplished within designated timeframes and budgets.
In this role, the selected candidate will serve as a hands-on technical project manager with development staff and business groups; coordinate and communicate with EDM management and staff to coordinate work tasks and resourcing.
In this role, the selected candidate will work as member of engineering team, work with clients, manage/mentor junior engineers and designers; ability to evaluate processes, make recommendations for changes,upgrades and renovations.
The project manager leads the team through the Commonwealth Standard for Project Management for successful completion of the project phases: PreSelect, Initiation, Planning, Execution and Control and Closeout.
In this position, you will participate in design and planning stage of project to provide technical expertise, assistance, and consultation as well as discuss potential problems relating to natural resource, permitting, regulatory issues and policy matters, site selection and conditions, design and construction.
