Analyze and secure Information Technology systems for compliance with DoD Acquisition and cyber specifications, requirements, and policies. Research and recommend logical and physical solutions that prevent, detect and correct the system to be certified and accredited.
Design, implement, and administer enclaves supporting penetration testers and implement computer security, military system specifications, and DoD Cyber security in accordance with Fleet Network Operating Center and GIG security architecture policies.
In this role, you will perform variety of network engineering tasks, either independently or under supervision, which are broad in nature and are concerned with the design and implementation of integrated networks, including personnel hardware, software and support facilities and/or equipment.
In this role, the selected candidate will support the operations and making day to day changes in the network environment; should also be good with Cisco routers i.e. 3935, 7200, ASR series and Cisco switches i.e. 3750, 4500, 6500, Nexus platforms.
Conduct site surveys at remote locations to determine equipment requirements for exercise support. Construct; read and interpret floor plans; wiring diagrams and schematics using Microsoft office tools.
Analyzes voice; video; radio-frequency; and/or data communications networks; including planning; designing; evaluating; selecting; and upgrading operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators; bridges; and other devices.
Assists the Government Lead in the daily engineering duties on systems. Implement and monitor security measures for communication systems, networks, and provide advice that systems and personnel adhere to established Government security requirements.
