The Systems Administrator will be expected to develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all routine Systems Administration functions to assure security requirements and operational goals are met.
Consolidate applications into a unified but distributed architecture and maintain these systems; schedule, plan and oversee updates, patches, and new configurations as needed to enhance the reliability, compliance and security of these systems.

Installing, configuring, and managing the Linux/Solaris operating systems and related tool sets supporting NAVAIR. This includes gathering requirements, developing and conducting design reviews, along with "as approved" implementations within the mainstream corporate infrastructure.
