The incumbent will provide patient navigation for a specific tumor site or cancer for the region, train and manage the peer navigators assigned to that cancer type, manage support groups, participate in fund raising and educational
community awareness activities.
The Nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge.
Coordinate with the FMCNA RTG the ordering and delivery of the patients initial dialysis supplies; the ordering of the patients dialysis equipment as appropriate at the initiation of the training program; and the on-going operation and preventative maintenance of all home dialysis equipment through facility Technical support staff, or through the appropriate equipment vendor as required.
The Clinical Coordinator directs and supervises nursing and ancillary staff in planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating patient care in the Medical-Surgical Acute Care Unit according to unit specific structure standards.
