The Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing a variety of human resources services for specific plant location(s). Performs wage and salary administration, recruiting, staffing, training and development, employee relations, performance management, safety, compensation and benefit liaison functions.
Develops systems and sets performance targets and measures that appropriately assess the performance of the project and maintenance group and reviews progress to ensure achievement of targets; develops strategies for increasing site efficiency.
Provide overall management for a project or assist senior management on projects. Manage a field staff, contract documents, subcontractor performance, vendor compliance, budgets, costs, safety, profitability, and statutory and legal compliance. Maintain constructive relationships and communicate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, inspectors, community officials and company staff.
Coordinates workers engaged in mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance of electric-power generating equipment, as well as transmission, distribution, and control equipment for the plant's machinery.
