The ideal candidate will plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the facility's nursing department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, as may be directed by the Administrator to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Supports the local hiring managers and employees through ongoing coaching and/or problem solving efforts, particularly in the areas of: recruiting, new hire compliance, onboarding and employee relations.
Provides oversight and guidance to the Manager of the Documentation and Data Quality to promote documentation and data quality, compliant billing, charging and HIMS/Revenue Cycleoperational practices as required by Federal and state legal requirements and payer policies.
Responsible for managing, supervising, hiring, training, coaching and developing members of the Surveillance Department. Establishes and maintains an effective CCTV surveillance system ensuring that company operations are adhered to in accordance with and pursuant to all applicable NIGC requirements, MICS, SICS, and departmental policies and procedures are adhered to.
Knowledge and skill in professional nursing theory and practice, including physiological principles involved in the care of cardiac patients, principles of teaching and learning, research and quality assurance.
