The Registered Nurse in the Ambulatory Care setting manages the patient/family experience through utilization of critical thinking, teamwork, effective communication, and nursing judgment/knowledge/skills.
In this role, you will effectively conduct telephonic case management, disability management, and utilization review as indicated for injured workers with the goal of returning the injured person to employability and normal activities or achieving maximum medical improvement (MMI).
This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction.
The RN-Nurse Supervisor supervises nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and within the scope of practice, coordinates care delivery which will ensure that residents needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, center policies and procedures and federal, state and local guidelines.
