The Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Emergency Medicine Resident is involved in a 12-month intensive program administered by Emergency Medicine in the Department of Surgery at Duke University Medical Center. PA/NP Residents are full members of the surgical team and are involved in all aspects of pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care.
