This role will be the subject matter expert and business lead for supporting systems standardization and application globally. The persons role is to champion and develop continuous improvement projects, PIP Projects, Standardization projects and Transformational Business Projects through collaboration.
Responsible for identification, negotiation and execution of purchase agreements and/or contracts for the procurement of goods, service, and equipment.Identifies opportunities for cost savings, standardization and utilization in conjunction with other members of purchasing team.
Performs all procurement activities for a major proposal(s) or project(s). May lead others with procurement responsibilities while requiring minimal or no supervision. May be responsible for or assist in development and/or implementation of business strategies.
In this role, the selected candidate will proactively work with client project teams to define and execute cost takeout initiatives; maintain and provide ongoing status of Procurement activities to deal team.
