The Financial Analysts responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: assistance with internal and external financial reporting, accounting and transactional research and analysis, accounts receivable reserve analysis and development.
This position is also responsible for providing education, support and explanations to all staff on the data maintained within the financial systems in order to help assure accurate and effective use of the data.
The ideal BI Analyst will be involved in designing and developing Business Applications and Reporting Solutions using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Visual Studio .Net, Oracle and SQL Server databases.
In this role you will work closely with the Business Units to help them understand how they can best utilize Fiservs Financial Crime Risk Management product. The BSA will work closely with lines of business to help them understand what the product can do for them.
The Financial Analyst will be part of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) business unit and will be involved with various financial and strategic business analysis projects. Functions of this role involve financial modeling and forecasting, budgeting support, reporting, and ad hoc analysis projects. Strong analytical and communication (verbal and written) skills are essential.
Participates in routine and ad hoc meetings and communicates with departments across the business, Provides input into future software functionality, implementation methodology, and customization standards.
Reviews test plans, scenarios, and cases as needed. Participates in quality assurance (qa) triage to resolve issues/defects and identify root causes. Supports post-implementation verification (piv) as needed. Identifies risks, dependencies, assumptions and constraints, and develops and recommends mitigation strategies. Provides consulting services to business partners on new initiatives.
Resolve system issues, contribute to and support detailed business requirements, conduct information gathering sessions, perform System Integration Testing, recommend technology solutions and new technology initiatives.
