The Fahrenheit Group is assisting our client in the Consumer Goods industry in hiring their next Director of North America Retail Sales. This role will report to the VP of Sales and is located in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The rsd is also responsible for developing and maintaining an effective and influential relationship with the management team for those certified solution partners whose headquarters are located within the sales territory.
In this role, the selected candidate will contribute to and continue to shape development of new services and marketing strategy by using knowledge of pharmaceutical and biotechnology R&D, along with feedback from clients and others to inform the internal staff of opportunities to evolve, enhance and expand companys offerings.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for prospecting & Planning: Identify and prioritize high potential sales opportunities; Build rapport and educate customer with the use of internal and external resources.
This person must have recent and extensive sales experience with electronic data capture (EDC) and ePRO, and will be responsible for strategic development and oversight of the business development and marketing strategies for the company.
A Business Development Director will lead a cross-functional team that includes value engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, cost analysis, financial and legal experts to develop solution proposals for customers.
In this role, the selected candidate must have willingness to develop and refine sales / business development know-how from shaping tailored solutions in pharmaceutical R&D, negotiating legal agreements through to closing deals and managing customer relationships.
In this role, you will ensure operational activities are executed effectively and efficiently and accountable for performance shortfalls develop corrective action plans when performance falls below target.
In this role, the selected candidate will support the tracking and reporting (of pipelines, success rates, costs, financial performance, etc.) pertaining to the Company's business development efforts in a timely, accurate, and comprehensive fashion.
