In this role, you will be responsible to develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication. Provide day to day guidance, support and direction to direct patient care staff, providing informal feedback on an ongoing basis and formal feedback input for the annual performance evaluation. Participate in the department staffing and the appropriate hiring, firing and disciplinary actions. Recommend disciplinary action to clinical manager and initiate as appropriate.
In this role, you will be responsible for all safety, infection control, and quality of care issues that might arise while on duty, as well as, assisting with performance appraisals, mentoring staff during orientation, and dealing with disciplinary issues.
